The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company offers a residency program that includes concerts; lecture/demonstrations; open rehearsals; master classes in modern dance, jazz and ballet technique and arts-in-education workshops and performances. In addition, during the residency the company utilizes its creative time to begin new work that can be presented in informal showings. Community outreach programming can occur on or off site. These residencies make a significant contribution to a community’s cultural enrichment and can extend from three days to three weeks. Individuals have the unique opportunity to view the artists in the midst of creative development. Long term partnerships with the host and ESDC often result from these residencies. ESDC past residencies include Kaatsbaan International Dance Center, Schenectady Museum, Skidmore College, Snug Harbor Cultural Center and UAlbany.
