Upstate New York Tour
Presenting Sponsor: Capital Region Living Magazine
Tour Supporters: Stewart’s Shops and Stuyvesant Plaza
Major funding received from The Charles R. Wood Foundation

This season, thanks to major support from Capital Region Living Magazine and The Charles R. Wood Foundation with tour support from Stuyvesant Plaza, Inc. , ESDC is embarking on a five-venue tour of upstate New York. Aptly dubbed Northern Exposure , the tour will take the company from Saratoga Springs on up to Lake Placid with stops in Glens Falls, Indian Lake, and North Creek in between. Stretching from September through January, the tour kicks off with a performance at Skidmore Dance Theatre followed by a family program in November at Indian Lake Theater co-hosted by that venue and the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts . Upper Hudson Musical Arts brings the company to Tannery Pond Community Center in December and the tour culminates with repertory programs at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts and the Wood Theatre in January.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring our work to these five communities in the northern part of our state,” exclaims Ellen Sinopoli. “The financial support we have received from our sponsors and our extremely dedicated individual supporters along with the commitment of all five venues has been critical in making this happen. We are delighted to be making our debut two of these venues while returning to the other three for performances of different works.”
